Our Review

Storm Surge is at the heart of Thorpe Park’s thrilling rides. It’s an exciting water ride set in the Amity Cove area, taking guests to a place hit by a tidal wave. Here, they feel the power of nature like never before.

This ride uses big rafts to give you a rush. Riders start by going up a 64ft conveyor belt. Then, they zip down a 467ft water slide. It’s a mix of speed, height, and spins that’ll leave you buzzing.

Finally, you hit the water in a big, splashing moment. You may get wet. It’s the best way to end the Storm Surge adventure.

Storm Surge lasts about 5 minutes but is full of fun. From spinning to splashing, it’s packed with excitement. It’s an attraction at Thorpe Park you don’t want to miss.

  1. I have always been confused with the area right as you exit the dome. Unused and horrendously outdated. Hasn’t really changed that much from when I first visited back in early 90’s Whole area needs a massive rework.
